Peri Peri is a popular restaurant chain in Pakistan, renowned for their mouthwatering chicken burgers. While the chicken, toasted bun, lettuce, tomato and onion set the stage for their creations, the real star of these burgers are the sauces, generously added to elevate the flavors to new heights.
At the heart of Peri Peri’s chicken burgers lies their signature peri peri sauce. This sauce originates from African and Portuguese cuisine and is typically made from a combination of chilies, garlic, lemon juice, herbs, and other spices. The result is a fiery and tangy sauce that adds a distinct kick.
For those who prefer a milder yet creamy flavor profile, there is the garlic sauce. Made with garlic, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and a touch of seasoning, this sauce delivers a smooth, yet garlicky punch while adding a creamy texture.
The Tangy BBQ sauce adds a smoky and slightly sweet flavor by combining a rich tomato base with vinegar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, and other spices.
For those seeking a classic yet zesty twist, the Zesty Mayo sauce, with a hint of tanginess, combines mayonnaise, lemon juice, vinegar, and other spices, adding a creamy, cooling element to the chicken burger.
For the daring spice enthusiasts, the fiery hot sauce takes the chicken burgers to a whole new level. Made with a blend of intense chili peppers, vinegar, and other spices, this sauce packs a serious heat punch.
Whether you’re a fan of the fiery peri peri sauce or crave a combination of sauces, Peri Peri chicken burgers have a lot to offer.
